When Robbie Earle was playing mainly as a striker I seem to remember he had to fill in at RB for a few games (85-86 I think).

 

Also Neville Chamberlain (striker) played mainly at RB for our chubby neighbours.

Thank you for reminding me why I have massively reduced the regularity with which I post on this forum.

 

I have retracted the 'nazi' jibe and accept it may have been a bit OTT but the sash wearing bowler hat brigade can hardly claim to be fair and liberal minded democrats, can they, no more than any extremists can claim it either, don't you think?

 

Personal insults against people who just don't happen to share your point of view are often the refuge of the unintelligent and the extreme right wing, two groups who are often intrinsically linked.

 

The one thing we are supposed to have in common on this site is a love of Port Vale FC but reading some of the direct insults and slanging matches that take place on here makes me wonder sometimes.

That was hardly a retraction. Saying it was " abit OTT" is not a retraction at all actually, you obviously still hold feelings pretty close to the mark but realise you did indeed make yourself look like a bawbag.

 

A member of the Orange Order can claim to be a fair and liberal democratic liberal if he is, yes. I'd say David Trimble is fair and democratic. Would you agree? You have to judge these people on a one by one basis, it's very unfair to generalise. In any case, what's this got to do with Andy Little?

 

 

I didn't insult you because you don't share my point of view. I insulted you because you insulted Andy Little's background, where he comes from and the history of his nation - and he's just signed for Vale. Brilliant.

 

I'm far from right wing but, even if I was, would there be something wrong with that?

 

You say we are all Vale fans yeh you try to create a divide between right and left wingers.

 

Perhaps it's best if you do stay away . There might be too many "huns" in the team for you now.
