Crucial Couple of months

Looking at the fixtures in September and October, it will really test our credentials.

Sept.

Bury

Peterbrough

Gillingham

B. Rovers

Millwall

Oct.

Coventry

MK Dons

Sheff Utd

Charlton

Oxford

Bolton

Apart from Bury, Oxford and Bristol all are expected to compete at the top end of league 1..so if we get to November still in the top 6 we will be well and truly in the thick of it. Im confident!

I am not expecting any slip-ups in the Cup either, 3rd Round is essential.

No month is crucial at the moment.

We have had a great start and we should take each game as it comes.

Some are getting far too carried away and thats expected but as my wise owd man tells me, league tables mean nothing until the clocks go back.

Fantastic start but two defeats send you mid table. Three out of the next four are away and our results so far have been poor.

I actually think we can pick up enough points in September to be in the mix still, but lets not get suicidal should we lose a couple.

Believe the side has gelled very well and there is a lot more to come as well. Thought we would have had a mixed bag of results and been mid table - but great kudos to the team and staff for what they have done and may it continue.

Just to prove the doubters and bookies wrong.

Not really crucial in a sense because there's no pressure on us to deliver anything. We're still massive underdogs in this division. Win a couple, lose a couple and keep the points total ticking over. Whatever happens you just have to sit back and hope to enjoy the ride.

Take each game as it comes non are easy unless you go out there and do the job to make it so.

As spunkers says need to show a bit more away to show we are the real deal(remember we've not managed a goal yet in the league away from VP). Gillingham I'm guessing are hit and miss but look like they can score a few especially with JET in the side but could struggle at the back if you put them under the pump? Millwall will be a test at home if we've maintained the good start up 'til then and show how far we've come as they outplayed us twice last season.

October too we have the 4 'big' clubs of this league if you will. Sheffield aren't going to keep failing for ever(why can't we play them in the first 5 games?haha) and Charlton and Bolton will be there or thereabouts you'd imagine!

Interesting 2 months but at least we're going into it with hope and some points on the board not thinking 'oh **** we're really up against it now' Bring it on #UTV!
