Alternative kit

Bluedevil

Just looked at the photo gallery from the Bradford game and I have to say how impressive the new home shirt is when worn with the yellow shorts and socks. Is it worth a permanent change to this colour combination? On a similar subject, why do all other clubs get colour-coordinated match balls, yet Vale always get blue ones? Is this a FL decision or down to the club itself?

Said the same on Saturday at the game, looks neat with the gold shorts and socks, also like to 2nd strip after seeing it in the flesh. Previously I thought that it was too yellow and the 3rd strip also is very nice. 3 very presentable offerings this year I think.

The blue footballs always puzzle me too. Perhaps someone could explain this choice.

The strip looked great on Saturday and I'd certainly back a move for that to be our first strip. I think the move to Errea has been a real success.

You already know my opinion Nelly, but it was still better than the full away kit to me I guess. Really don't like the all yellow.

Have to say though, I don't think there will be any change. It was only because all 3 of our kits clashed with theirs. Just looked through all the kits & looks like the actual 3rd kit will possibly come out for MK Dons, Shrews & Oxford. Will be going all of them, can't wait to hopefully see us in it!

I looked better than it sounded when I heard before the game that's what we'd be playing in. Mainly thanks to the amber on the shirts. I still thought it looked a bit lost property cupboard-y.

We always used to keep a set of white shorts and socks for games like this, or Wolves away, or Watford...

I'm with you Santa. Looked thrown together / as if we'd had to borrow kit change shorts socks at short notice. All white was a much better / regular alternative

Looking at the colour clash beforehand I expected us to play in all white and was surprised when I saw the photos but I did like the mix, thought it looked much better than I expected a home shirt and away shorts would look.

... and I'm with you and Santa... definitely looks like they had to borrow, like last season... pub kit , I call it, as it reminds me of the times when our pub side only had shirts and everyone bought their own cheap, white shorts.
