He tweeted to say it was a game, not a player. Monaco maybe?

Surely not adding another pre-season friendly? It already seems like the schedule is full, so much so that it's a bit much that we're playing on both the Saturday (Chester) and Sunday (Sheffield Weds) the weekend before the season starts, unless we're sending the youth team to one of those?

Did they not split the squad last season ?

I would personally see a signing with him tweeting that.

if a signing, what posistion dya all think it would be / need?

Smurthwaite was talking about a game.

But I still see a couple more signings before we're done either permanent or loan.

How can any friendly game be exciting? They're for fitness purposes, not a viewing spectacle.

It amazes me how much people will pay to watch a walking pace game.

As we all know Bon'Ami our first real test will be Bradford City with its 12th man in the stands. Until then let the 'Lads gel together in friendly spirit.

If you knew how attractive and how big a team the opposition is then maybe you'd make an exception for once.

they are a viewing spectacle to some people, ive never watched port vale vs manchester united, so to me it's a good game, they might play some of the bigger stars, for match fitness, just imagine david de gea playing at vale park? would rather see that then us vs chester, no disrespect like, plus it will generate more income, you state that they are no interest to you what so ever, you sound like your having a right moan about it, no one is saying you even have to go.
