Premiership 16/17 Season

Because that is my opinion, and I am perfectly justified in making the point whether it suits you or not. It had been answered by AR and pretty much done with before your intervention, nothing new there really.

I didn't name any poster, and I don't think it is up to a post to say who is more passionate than others about any club.

On a more important note (ie about football, instead of petty posts ) I saw that Fulham ko'd Middlesboro tonight and Accrington beat Burnley, notable wins. Something of a couple of surprises there after good league form by those Prem clubs recently.

You are perfectly entitled to your opinion the same as everyone else, that's why I posted!!

It's quite ironic that you preach about not naming posters after complaining about someone taking up 90% of a thread

Sadly there is a recurring problem in posts like this - they are mistaken and inaccurate, they misquote people continuously.

THERE NEVER WAS ANY COMPLAINT about one PERSON taking up 90 per cent of a thread, I talked about (again different from complaining) one CLUB dominating the thread, and supplied a possible alternative of a Liverpool thread in a constructive, civil and polite way.

Barry (AR) explained that the idea had been considered, but rejected, fine.

Sorry, not playing anymore - end of subject for me. Nighty night.

Why complain about Liverpool taking up 90% of the thread then?

Anybody can post about the other 19 clubs if they wish.Beechy seems to be a bit more passionate about his club that's all.

He's certainly got a lot to say about them and they are obviously important to him..fairynuff.

I reckon Sturridge will be on his way soon..maybe even in this window. Good fit for Spurs!!!

Spot on,if it's that important to him let him continue posting, but for someone to say that posts about Liverpool are really spoiling the thread is a bit ludicrous.

If they were in the Championship I could understand it but after all it's thread about the Premiership.

Anyway, another classy goal from Sturridge last night but he didn't look too happy about it did he?

Unfortunately you have just repeated the thing I pointed out last post - to misquote and mistakenly put words in someone else's mouth.

Nobody, certainly not me, said ALL posts or even any specific posts about Liverpool spoil the thread, not was what was important to one poster ever discussed.

The point, which you seem to struggle to grasp in your posts, was the volume and detail of Liverpool posts - but as I said before the subject was ruled on by Barry and I accepted that.

Why do your posts continually raise it again, someone might think you are trying to provoke a reaction that would break the new personal rules remarks, but I would tell them that you are a better person than that - I am right aren't i ? Sweet dreams.

Now on to more important things - tonight saw one of the greatest European Club acheievements EVER. Not strictly Premier league, but the total humiliation and destruction of a Premiership team that should be on the crest of a wave.

West Ham undone by a relatively tiny Romanian team, Astra Giargiu, who did not have a 60,000 free stadium dumped in their lap and have an 8000 capacity ground and who nobody had ever heard of - BEAT West Ham and cost them millions and millions - glorious, and wondferful.

On the radio now, the Hammers are being called an embarrassment and its being said Sullivan and Gold should move on - they've spent virtually nothing and are being accused of penny pinching on Talk Sport. 'Like a morgue' was how the atmosphere was described.

Astra only ever qualified for Europe for the first time in 2013, and are a bit like when a small club like Barnsley or Blackpool (recent times) got into the Premier League, so the scale of shock here is enormous.

Astra can look forward to massive teams whilst the East End horrors crawl back to their new ill-financed 'super-stadium'. Oh how Orient must be wetting themselves !!!

Massive congratulations again to the Dracii Negri (Black Devilrs) and are rated 153rd best in Europe in the EUFGA Coefficients 2016, just next to Atromiimos and Metal Donetsk.

Wonder if Accrington scouts were there?

Nearly 57000 turned up to watch it though so it meant something to the fans..but I think you are right, Bilic was trying to get thru without risking his 'stars' and if he failed no big deal as far as he is concerned. Well done Astra..giant killings at any level are good for the game as otherwise it's just predictable.

I do hope West Ham have a good season though as in top flight terms they have mainly been underdogs themselves (bit like the real people from the East End)....although that may change with the new stadium

I think west ham went out on purpose same as last season . They field **** sides and expect to win. They don't want to be in Europa league and would rather concentrate on a top 7 finish.
What is the point of a top 7 finish? Is it not to be in the Europa league?

Very interesting quote from the Astra Giurgiu manager Marius Sumudica after the game against West Ham "This is one of the best days of my life,on the same level as when my children were born.To put it into perspective,we have got our budget for the entire year from this and I'll sleep well until the summer."

"I have 25 players in my squad and the total they earn in a month is 130,000 Euros."

"I have just received an offer to become manager of PORT VALE.Sorry, but now we have qualified I am staying in my country."

Any money they make is that prize money or a cut from the gate receipts? if the latter then they must b e glad that West Ham are such a big successful club. We should not always knock the big clubs as some of their money does trickle down
