Another day, another revelation at Vale! Can't we just have some modicum of sense please for us poor fans? Seriously no author or script writer could ever imagine such brilliant and compelling story lines. We are an absolute laughing stock. No one, it appears can ever honestly believe any form of sense relates to PVFC.

If so called administrators, presumably solicitors and legal people and prospective owners can not read 100% into full details then what chance has anyone got? We stumble on.........at least we have a playing squad that appear to know what they are doing!!!

For about five years, I've been looking for an "opening a can of worms" emoticon (smiley) to use on here.

What with this and all the other revelations over the years I reckon it could have been one of OVF's most popular images... :dizzy:

Why wasn't this brought up when they were asked to leave ,2 years ago?

Don't know, but since Pete Williams has become a trustee he has tried to open dialogue with Smurf to no avail. The previous trustees, Bratt, Mudie etc. said nowt.

It seems there is always something to try and hamper any positivity at PVFC. Especially a takeover. Why do they not just talk to Smurthwaite and try and bget a deal done or maybe the potntial takeover bidders. Rather then putting these headlines out there its almost like they are try get rid of people.

Im not sure its incumbent on administrators to point out the precise details of what someone is buying, Whoever did the DD missed it if its there in the documents... if its not in the documents its a different story.... but thats assuming the information wasnt passed on during negotiations... who knows.... solicitors generally look at the legality of the contract on the assumption you know what you are doing.

Going by the article... no commercial activity whatsoever... it seems the trust is in breach of the grant and is liable to refund the money whether smurf sells or stays.... it raises questions about getting rid of the trust a while ago and replacing it.... did smurf think that was the answer to the problem?

What is the definition of 'Commercial activity'? :dizzy:

Answer = Any activity which is conducted for gain is considered a commercial activity and can be conducted only under a permit. Commercial activities on parks are managed to ensure minimal environmental impact and the delivery of high-quality visitor services. In some areas, the number of permits is limited to protect the environment and visitor experiences. Examples of commercial activities include: selling things, supplying services or facilities.........

Old picture from the OVF archives attached. The current ticket office/club shop is the building far right which (I believe) was unused and boarded up for some time after construction.
