Anybody got any news from the friendly. Could determine what kind of defence we'll line up with on Saturday if Innis plays well, also whether the Banton signing looks a possibility?

We were better second half, but let them walk through our defence 10 seconds after half time for the winning goal. Tried hard after but to no avail. Some decent performances from Deen-Conteh, Gibbons (excellent), Steele and Kelly. Excellent goal from Kelly too, cutting in from the right, past a couple of defenders and left footed into bottom right of goal.

 

We hit the cross bar 3 times. Downsides were the performances of Banton (1 decent cross that should have been converted by Campion) and Campion himself. JJ looked lively but came off at half time.

Inniss was lucky to complete 45 minutes. He went nose to nose with a Bradford player and went 2 footed studs up into a tackle, albeit he did get the ball. Second half didn't have much to do, a couple of long balls up front with too much power.

 

As an aside, he was at least 6 inches taller and much broader than anyone else on the pitch, looked like an adult turning up to a primary school game
