Louis Dodds is an enigma to me. I really do want him to do well but he is so frustrating.

OK he may have won a tackle leading up to our goal, but for every one he wins there are 8-10 that he loses.

I know that's not his game but his overall play is riddled with mistakes, passes go astray, control and first touch average. I just don't see him as a front man

You are not alone mate. However I don't see him as a full season 1st Division player. He recently has become the "invisible man" as one eloquent fan behind me shouts. Dodds simply is proving AGAIN that after 6 years plus in our side he has the occasional inspirational flash of genius and then recedes back into an average 2nd Division player.

To be honest, I thought it was more of a hopeful ball from Birchall that the defender misjudged.

AJ isn't really the type of player who makes them stick usually but fortunately it landed at his feet.

From what I've seen of aj one of his best attributes is his touch. Was a hopefull ball but still excellent.

Dodds has gone from inspired to anonymous. He needs benching for a bit. Hooper's pace looks frightening and I think he deserves his chance. Uche's touch looks dreadful atm.

Thoroughly deserved to win yesterday in difficult conditions. Yates did well at left back. I know people slate him but I only saw him miss-kick once with his left. Thought Sam Kelly's crossing was simply brilliant in the second half especially.

Dodds should have gone off earlier. Completely invisible.

I actually think though we play better as a team with Foley and Grant in midfield. I don't dislike O'Connor at all but for a midfield two I prefer the former. As for Grant. He will be playing in the Championship within the next two seasons. Best midfielder we've had since Ian Taylor.
