There are various collective nouns for politicians:

 

Lie, Equivocation, Odium

 

Windbag would be a welcome addition

There is very little difference between you and Carl in terms of being offensive and provocative - the main difference is that Carl is/was more honest, whether one finds his views correct or not. People will know that generally I don't but he has 100 times more respect from me than you, despite his views not being mine.

 

Opening this thread under the disguise of a little joke, then furtively inserting the Syrian refugees line was clearly intended to re-ignite all the bile and hatred that caused the other thread to be closed - now I know I can be guilty of hitting back with nasty stuff too - but nobody on this site is as devious and provocative and deliberately trouble-making as you, as this post shows.

 

Of course, I have had to post once to say that, but can I appeal to anyone else who can see through his trap to not post on this thread and show the oh-so-clever Mr Aitch that his little game failed and we are not all as stupid as he seems to imagine.

 

Finally, from a quick scan of the last few pages of dross on the other Syrian thread, it seems some of you pushed Carl to say something that got him banned (I cant see what he said but imagine it was something about cattle from later comments) - well, you'll miss him because it is less arguments for you, perhaps Aitch and a couple of others will realise they have one less person to provoke - and of course, if banned he cant pay his debts so the people who provoked him caused that too.
