With the latest signings coming in to the club and possibly the last of the signings, when does that leave us with the budget? I'm sure we're over the targeted £1.8m??

Smurf is a clever business man and if he is happy with his spending then so should we. Pope and lines wages being freed up would have helped a huge amount in balancing the books.

Fair play to Smurf it was not long ago he was saying we were close to the budget, so he has clearly dipped into his pockets. Its good for Page because he has got the players he wanted so he has had long enough assess the squad bring in his own signings and run them through a pre season. Not to mention his new backroom staff. I know one or two people aren't Smurfs biggest fans but he puts his money where his mouth is.

Just out of interest what was our ST sales target? and what did we actually sell? I thought we were below the target, but then heard the commercial team did well so maybe they made up the shortfall.

I've done my bit with a season ticket for the first time in 8 years, spent in the club shop which is better than I can ever remember, and finally managed to get our Xmas party moved to the vale. I just wondered how much it's costing smurf.

Norman is doing a grand job with funding the squad. Of that there is no doubt. I am concerned, however, about the FFP rules. I've never really understood them. Are we in danger of breaching them?
