youve asked me how i want him punished, when did i EVER i want him punished? i have mentioned how i am offended at the way he comes out with how proud to be irish etc he is, and how he wont wear a poppy, and how he turns the back on the national anthem, i suppose he is allowed though, because being racist towards britain is allowed.

It's no surprise to see which way you lean since you peddle the same nonsensical rhetoric on most every thread you post. mcclean is a disgrace. Tony Pulis is right to reprimand him and the lads actions while on tour over here were greeted with shock and the media was appalled by his anti British behavior

Rather than getting angry and upset about McClean, why not rise above it and ignore him. Surely the 'british' way is to accept what others believe and respect their right to do so. McClean hasn't actually done anything. If he'd waggled his twig and berries about or wiped his bum on the union flag, I'd be more understanding of your being offended but all he's done is a) decline to wear a poppy and b) decline to turn and face the flag.

why should i just have to ignore it? thats a typical way in this country which i dont like, 'just ignore it' attitude, no i will not just ignore it, he has declined to turn and face the flag of the country which i was born in, it offends me, why should i have to ignore it? and yes maybe it wasnt the wisest thing to say, i will apolagise for that, but as for mclean, im not going to ignore it because it might suit others, im highly offended by the fact he wont face the flag, if i burned and irish flag infront of him what would i get called? it wouldnt just be 'ignored'
