Mods, if you want to merge this thread you are more than welcome but I thought this deserved a thread of its own.

 

Taken from another thread yesterday but seemed to have been missed by everyone:

As a side issue, people will no doubt be interested to see what the first home gate is. Don't forget Crawley could and probably will bring a really big following, so if we get over 7000, doesn't mean SEO isn't working.

 

Arfe you expecting Crawley to bring around 3000 fans?

i cant see them bringing a massive following 600-700tops afterall they only took 9k to man u (glory hunters) there highest att last year was 4k and lowest was 1.5k

It is difficult for SEO supporters to not renew if they go with their kids or people who don't follow the board's antics. I'm sure that is a big factor which influenced some renewals.

The question is just HOW many will pay £20 a go each match? Not a lot I recon, so lets say at BEST 2,500 ST's sold come August, the likes of Barnet will bring 50 ish along with like 15 other sides in this damn division? We going to MISS 3,000 gates more often than we pass that number then!?....:unsure:

To be honest mate, I'm uncertain what sort of gates Crawley will get. With massive investment, there will no doubt be loads of glory hunters. I would imagine first game in the Football League for them, they will bring quite a few, but uncertain on numbers. Just saying it could be one of the better away followings nxt season, especially with it being the opening game.
