Leyton Orient to stay up

I really hope Leyton stay up.

 

It's definitely one of the better London visits to do, and there was an overwhelmingly friendly feel to the place.

 

The stewards were laid-back, the cops stayed at a distance, the stand we were in was magnificently old-fashioned and the ground itself is actually characterful despite being all-seated. The little flats overlooking the pitch are most unusual, and with less than 6k in the ground it still generates a decent atmosphere.

 

Granted it was a couple of quid over the norm for this league to get in, but I'd rather pay that than go to Shhtamford Bridge or a silent Emirates stadium. The O's have a proud history and it would be a crying shame if they get swallowed up by the Hammers when they move in over the road.

 

So, as long as it's not at our expense I hope the O's survive!!

That result doesn't do us any favours !!!!! Look at the table.

 

Even assuming we pull clear,from Vale's point of view it would be better if Coventry stayed up than Orient - more visiting fans, nearer away trip and Smurf has a fondness for them - hope he doesn't read your post or you could watch the next game from the top of the floodlights !:)

Yet gain after being gifted three points by the Vale a bottom 4 club start winning and climb out of the relegation zone.

 

We don't half know how to create problems for ourselves. Until we helped them out it was Orient, Colchester, Crawley and Yeovil to go down. A dream ticket.

It does have it's exceptions but goal difference normally tells the truth to your league position. Just look at the bottom six now Orient have climbed out. There are some shockers !!!!!

Friend of mine, season ticket holder at Sky blues says it was unbelievable. Hit the post several times, cleared off the line many occasions and missed sitters. Coventry should have won by a country mile! He feels like we do now, desperate for a win from anywhere! Wonder if Smurf is having sleepless nights too? What with us playing dire at present and his "beloved" seemingly dropping like a stone he can't be in a good place at the moment.
