It's a shame it takes words from players and management to try and stir Vale up! Actions speak louder than words so why don't the squad wake themselves up before they jog onto the pitch and actually give a performance. None of us mean to knock them if they at least try. O'Connor should speak to certain players and see if they are really interested for the remainder of this season as I feel there are some that are just playing out time, full in the knowledge they may be offered contracts that they think are unacceptable.

 

Actions speak louder than words and "anybody can be good when the going is good". Sadly we have plenty of players who cant step up a gear and make a contribution when teams come and don't roll over. Doesn't matter how we big up some of these individuals they will keep letting us down because they simply aren't good enough to take us further. They are probably on decent money for that privilege as well? Stick to your guns Smurf and clear them out in the summer they have had a fair chance. I personally would rather have 3 good players than 5 average ones.!!!

I don't think Marshall is as good as people make out. He has been lucky with his two goals, perhaps I am wrong but I prefer Daniel to Marshall. Daniel doesn't lose the ball as often and he looks more creative. Yes Marshall has pace but his delivery is poor, he always tries do one too many tricks, I think he would personally rather be a CM because he always prefers to shoot than deliver the ball.

 

But I agree, next season, O'Connor (if he stays) should be captain. Quality. However I would give Neal player of the season at the moment...

Marshall's scored 6 this year. He offers pace, trickery and work rate. We'd struggle to find that anywhere else in League 1.

 

As for O'Connor, I believe he is our best player. Work rate, passing, free kicks, vision, defensive work. Everything you need from a midfielder Signing him, Page, Veseli and Marshall up for next year would be my priorities.

I like MO both on and off the pitch he is a model Pro.

What he put in Sen I would like to have said but would have got slated for it

If we can overcome distance feel we can keep him for a couple more seasons

Assists?

 

Which player worries sides? Marshall

 

There isn't even a comparison to be made one is a decent sub and the other is a very good league 1 player.
