Has Nimley left?

Robbie Earle's Perm

Recommended Posts

If he has gone, then it will be because RP thinks he is simply not good enough. Why would anyone want us to keep a player who the manager isn't impressed with, and isn't going to select just for the sake of it.

It really is time that people learned to trust the judgement of our manager.

But he's good enough for the championship ?

He actually gone then? Not good enough for us but good enough for Bolton.

also in response to cpade 'so he is good enough for the championship'

So far he is only training with Bolton, they may also decide they don't want him - especially if they have to pay a fee. We don't know anything about the players motivation and attitude either, but Rob Page and his management team do so that may be a factor.

tricky one. When you see what Premiersh*p clubs pay for young lads £2million doesn't sound unreasonable. Trouble is he has almost no playing experience and there are hundreds of young hopefuls out there fighting for his place. According to wikipedia he has made less than 30 appearances for UK clubs and was banned for drink driving in January 2014. Looks like another prospect who couldn't handle the money and lifestyle of a top level pro footballer. I remember Sean Doherty playing briefly for us, he looked a great signing for us but didn't work out.

Smurf thinks we are going to get good money for him but Bolton are also looking at a Polish lad according to the Burnden Aces website:

"Wilczek, meanwhile, has scored nine goals in 19 outings in the Polish Ekstraklasa this season, which included a hat-trick in a 3-1 victory over league leaders Legia Warsaw in October.

The 27-year-old represented Poland at under-19 and under-21 levels and will spend the early part of this week with Wanderers, with a view to a £150,000 transfer."

I can't see them paying more for Nimely than that given he isn't even fit and has made less than 20 appearances in the last 3 seasons. He did score one goal for Coventry in 2012 but that is hardly prolific.
