What I noticed was every player thought they worth more than what they were on and no doubt it was driven by agents who are killing the game with wage demands.

The gannon incident on the bus highlights why managers should pick their own backroom staff and what not to do to stay in control, the moment gannon got off the bus he lost it, lost control and lost the players.... Im not suggesting it would have been better if he had stayed at vale.

He should have made horsefield get off the bus and sacked him when they got home.... whatever the consequences.

There isnt one approach to being "the boss" ... some try fear, some try being every persons best friend, some try distance... the best use all three and more to gain respect and maintain authority.

What's with all the Adams negativity? It's like fans are looking back on his time as though it was negative. He was an absolute hero at Vale and turned us in to a side to be proud of again, even when he inherited a poor side. He then went on to get us promoted whilst in administration and a solid first season in League 1 with an FA cup run. To let a poor start to this season tarnish his whole reign is disgraceful.

Sam Morsy seems to have learned from his time at the Vale and is now listening a lot more to the management team.
