You miss my point -one party (ukip) comes along - and proves they actually care about the issues facing many normal working people today- that is why I firmly believe that this forthcoming election will see percentages of turnouts soar

If people can dish out abuse, then on the flip side they should be prepared to take it.

 

True but just cos one is on the receiving end it's not a justification for dishing it out whilst at the same time condemning such abuse..that's not aimed at you by the way

I particularly don't agree that all small businesses should thrive, some of them like dodgy filthy kebab houses are not welcome at all in my view and I'd rather see an empty shop, or certainly a charity shop than a dirty unhealthy filth-hole selling rubbish.

 

Quite right and no one has advocated that such businesses should thrive. What has been advocated is that part of the role of local govt is to help small businesses to thrive and part odf that with regard to takeaways and the like is that the motive behind inspectrions should be to tell them how to improve and thrive..if they don't improve then by all means close 'em down but the motive should not be to close 'em down

 

Nor is it right to say that most small businesses avoid tax because all businesses do - why this Robin Hood view on tax, which we need for hospitals, pensions and suchlike. TaX DODGERS ARE FAR WORSE THAN BENEFIT CHEATS - and cost the country far more.

 

Tax avoiders are of course not worse than benefit cheats..benefit chetas are criminals

 

But having said that..everyone should pay their share and what they are due to pay. That's also why it was wrong to single out some of these

businesses as being unusual for their tax practices..they all do it to a greater or lesser extent

 

Finally, despite disagreeing with some of his views quite strongly, there has definitely been an element of bullying and worse still, group bullying of Carl, who has not actually said anything racist.

 

I don't think I've accused him of being racist and I don't belive I have in any way bullied him nor have I colluded with anyone..it's just people expressing their opinions on his views in the way that they see fit within the rules of the forum. IF you disdagree report the posts and the mods will decide
