Ticket Office Part 2

If the club cant run its ticket office properley then its time to pack in wen i was in there i got the feelin of **** up at a brewery

Conversely my mum (who doesn't like football and has no affinity to the Vale and no axes to grind) went in yesterday, picked mine up, brought me the new home shirt and said the whole experience was very pleasant and quick.

She works in customer service and recently received an outstanding achievement award so I'm confident in her neutral opinion in this.

I have had poor experiences with the ticket office in the past ( talking to some miserable old man who had no time for a paying customer)

But just rang up and paid for my ticket on Saturday it took a while to get through but the girl on the other end of the phone was very nice and helpful 10/10

I went down to see if I could get my nephew a season ticket without attaching it to an adult ticket (I can't make every game). The young man who served me told me every option I had and I ended up coming out 10 minutes later with a season ticket, membership and a new shirt for him for £20. Fantastic service, shop looks fantastic - roll on Saturday!

Not shooting the messenger but...

Wouldn't it have been better to have served these paying customers and spent 20 seconds printing them off a ticket instead of telling them to bugger off?

Couldn't agree more, any business should never turn customers away, especially when they have wads of cash in their hand, how many of those turned away won't now bother on Saturday.

Waited 10 mins yesterday to get a ticket for the Walsall match, bloke in front of me asked for a ticket for the Doncaster match and after paying up returned a minute later to say that he wanted one for the away match next week and not the home game in February?:D
