I think that used to be the case in the 'olden days' before keepers started to wear gloves, they only wore them if it rained back then when men were men!:)

Thought it was the case at one point, it seems that rule no longer applies.

Mind you I date back to the "olden days"

It might have been an old law but you do get a few short sleeved goalkeepers these days.

Pantilimon at City last season wore short sleeves quite a bit. The Salisbury goalkeeper wore short sleeves at Vale last December as well.

I bought the new home shirt and the new polo shirt, with me fighting anorexia I had a 4xl home shirt and a 3xl polo, neither fitted but I managed to stretch the shirt and its fine now but I've given the polo shirt to my grandson,I would say its more of a 1xl and the shirt a 2xl so my advice is to get a bigger size than you need and by the way can't we get somewhere to try on before we buy?

There used to be a little 'changing room' in the old club shop. A suggestion to pass on to Smurthwaite?

You don't want people going in, being confused or indecisive over sizes (merchandise not fitting), and deciding against purchasing and losing out on money. Provide a changing room just to give people that extra peace of mind and privacy, and I'm sure less people will leave without buying something. It may not seem major, but you'll be surprised how many people would just say 'Oh I'll leave it then', as they're unsure if it'll fit.

To be honest I saw two people do exactly that during trips I made last season, one was an older male and the other was a girl 25-30 maybe.

Didn't bother me as I just tried tops on in the store but you are right it could well affect others.

Went in the club shop today I must say I'm impressed with the range of Errea gear. All looks much higher quality than the Sondico tat and same goes for the new home kit which is finished off really well.

I also asked a girl who was working there who confirmed the away shirt will be released next weekend. It's a black and amber colours but she was unsure of the design.
