Adams and his journey man. Brown wasnt good in his prime and Jennings poor really. These will hinder the youngsters coming through oh wait that was the 24 year old french lad. Pathetic.

 

Wasn't good in his prime? He's played practically all his career in the top two divisions (the ones higher than we are) ;)

 

In all fairness I would take a proven, 'physical' player like him over a trialist who was playing non-league in a standard lower than the UK's non-league.

I absolutely hated Brown when he was in the Premier League with Sheffield United - He can be a dirty, vicious wand of a weapon. That said, he was also a very decent player at the highest level a few years back and I'm pretty sure even at the age of 37 he can still have an influence on the team in League One. He used to have a really good engine so I should imagine he keeps himself in great condition despite his years.
