I tell you now a midfield 5 of MOORE......JENNINGS......LINES......O'CONNOR....MARSHALL and POPEY up front would be class for me and far better a midfield than we have had for a long time,thats if O'Connor signs of course and then we have Michael Brown as back up,unbelievable really.

If Brown is down as a coach would that mean that although a player coach the wages would not be included in the playing budget?

 

So if O'Connor signs then that looks like 4/2/3/1 with a midfield of O'Conner and Jennings with Lines playing further up field and a

front three of Marshall and Moore playing either side of Pope.......so both Birchall and Brown would be cover for the holding midfield

positions and Wiliamson and Lloyd can play as wide attack as can Daniel and Dodds as back up number 10.

 

It looks like being Duffy and McGiven at centre back with Robertson as cover while Dickinson at left back can also off centre back cover.

Both Yates and the versatile Daniel can be seen as back up for the right and left back spots while Johnson is quality cover for Neal.

 

Got to say that while Jennings and hopefully O'Conner are good signings and Brown as a player coach could be usefull cover and a way

around budget restrictions next up has to be a first choice right back and a striker.

The fact he's played over 150 games in the premiership suggests he would be good enough for this standard in his prime. Stop making judgements on players you've never seen.

 

Again Jennings, tranmeres best player last season yet somehow you think he is **** as well. Do you rate any of our players?

Brown was quality in his prime! Absolutely dragged Sheffield United through to FA cup semi and also being the best player outside the prem at that time. As he got older his role changed to suit. I've not seen much of him for a while but I'm happy with Michael brown.
