Seen him have a few very good games, a lot of pretty average games and 1 or 2 poor games since he's been back, some of the comments seem very harsh to me but then again I swear most of OVF watches a completely different sport to me

Play him centre midfield in a 3 and watch him shine. Miles better than Griffith. He was superb v Walsall chasing back all over the park. Hardly had a look in since. Bizarre. Needs a run in the team. Griffith gets games but gets worse. Ridiculous. Chris can pass a ball and works hard. Just not a winger any more. Fine to play him on right if Tomlin and JMW are allowed to drift and loft, lines and Chris can do the rest. Our best games have been with that midfield.

I agree with the above two posts, there's plenty of times where Griff is off colour and a slightly more creative holding mid wouldn't go amiss.

Stangely he is not one of Mickys favourites, that makes getting picked almost impossible. All our regular midfielders-Lines, Loft and Griff have all had plenty of shockers but keep getting picked. In my opinion he is our best option on the right side of midfield and looks a claas above the others when he plays there, still as Sam Morsy and others have found out that doesn`t necessarily get you a game under Micky.

I certainly wouldnt say Lines and Loft have had plenty of shockers... They are our best midfielders so why wouldnt they play?

I thought he did well at Walsall and against Coventry when he came on he and Williamson changed the game. However generally when he's started he hasn't really done enough imo. A decent squad player I'd say but it's sad as I think he could achieve more as he has talent.
