Big well done to the lads today, great 3 points and professional performance. Doddsy had a great first half - also very well taken finish.

Defence stayed solid, midfield were impressive and special mention to Tom Pope who I was very impressed with today, won his headers, held the ball up, didn't sink to they're disgusting level and then laid off Tomlin for second goal. One of the first poor games I've seen Yates have but was up against very decent opponent and has been one of our better performers this season. Onwards to 2014 feeling very positive!

Had to laugh at Conroy and Johnson on Radio Joke...Johnson said "It must seem as though we are complaining at all the decisions that go against us" And Conroy assuered the viewers they weren't complaining about nothing ..... Viewers hes on the radio, years ago you could have made a joke about that but in the politically correct world we live in I will leave it alone.

 

WAS Mr Conroy slagging off the ref when they got a last minute penalty, and so a point at Swansea, for a NONE hand ball???.....:doh::laugh:

Great result and to man, great performances. Micky got his tactics spot on with 451 formation, so we didn't get outnumbered in midfield and Tomlin and Dodds playing as inside forwards supporting Pope when we were attacking. Speaking of Pope, another selfless performance from him. He was battered all over the shop, and I sometimes think he should be less honest and go down.

 

I though Chilvers did well coming back into the team and I know Robertson is back from his suspension for PNE, but I don't think he deserves to be dropped.

 

Sams penalty save was crucial and hopefully that will do the young lads confidence a world of good.

 

Finally the ref, I thought he was determined to even the score in the first half. An absolutely shocking official.

 

All in all, a good festive period. Two home wins, 7th in the table; I wouldn't have dreamed of this at the start of the season. Micky and the boys have done fantastic in 2013; roll on 2014.

Unbelievable. Sorry but you're bipolar when it comes to Micky Adams. Maybe now you'll cut him some slack when the inevitable bad performance comes around.

Sorry will complete,only one MOAN,I was expecting another 7000+ gate,

 

I thought the crowd was ok tbh,i mean two home games after Christmas when everyone will feel the pinch a little,two decent crowds for me.

 

A special mention for Griff who has been really poor in the last few games,i thought he was great today.
