And to which ever admin muppet banned me on the other thread I ask why after some of the sensitive issues that have been talked about on this forum this year I can be banned for saying Rob Taylor isnt good enough?

Maybe it was for saying that someone pointing out your stupid comments must be a 'faggot'?

That all? My god thought we were adults on here, never mind.

The number of points needed to avoid relegation in each of the last five seasons is:

2012-13 49

2011-12 44

2010-11 48

2009-10 51

2008-09 50

So, as someone else posted, 50 or thereabouts looks well good enough to keep us up.

On a more positive note. How points have gained a play off place over the last few years?

What can I say!!!

:groupwavereversed:

:upthevale:

Poor first half, sublime second half, totally dominated Crewe really for 50 minutes.

I thought Richard Duffy was outstanding, two great games on the trot and a good return to form for Griff.

I also think Micky Ferns is a comedy genius, please slag someone else off next week mate, we need another goal scorer to prove you wrong! ;)

played well second half mid table finish is looking good , but very upset with the minority of mindless yobs we seem to attract and if we want to make a move towards promotion we need 4 or 5 better players but we got no cash which brings me to my main point tried to buy away medium mans shirt £40 and a large wax jacket £54 no stock of either of them in main shop and shopping center shop how can we help to move on if we can not buy

Thoroughly enjoyable day, didn't start first half an hour but managed to get back in the game and get a goal when on top before ht.. Two centre halves were fantastic I thought, very solid, won all headers and seem to have a good relationship with Neal too.

Griff was good, battled well and Lines was once again magnificent, one of the best players I've seen at vale in a long time. Super vale away!

Here you go, the number of points needed to beat the 7th placed team into the playoffs over the last 5 seasons:

2012-13 72

2011-12 74

2010-11 71

2009-10 74

2008-09 75

So, just over a third of the season gone and we have more than a third of the points we need. Looks good doesn't it? You never know - if Yeovil and Stevenage can get into the playoffs so can we. C'mon the Vale, we can do it!!

Thanks Cambridge Don.

The way we are going we have every chance. Younguns coming through and players coming back off injury. Just a couple of additions in Jan. and you never know.
