It sounded like we actually had a go at Orient, rather than playing negatively. I said on the other thread, go out every week in a positive fashion like this every week, and we'll win more than we will lose. I'm actually more positive than I was last week, despite the result. Attack is the best form of defence with the players in our squad.

When we got the 2nd you're right. The game was slipping away from us after we took the lead originally so in the circumstances we should have taken what we had.

Presuming that the same formation that scraped a 93rd minute win against the bottom club would get the same result against the top team who are flying would be wrong though. I have no doubt that todays team did far better than if we had played the same team again.

Agree about the subs though. Its rare we improve after an adams sub. Last week we did, because whoever we brought on would have been an improvement, and so we couldnt go wrong. Id have brought tomlin on for mo if anything, but cant see the point of changing the formation at that stage, which we did. ANd if we are going to bring a second striker on, then hughes every time over williamson.

Not down hearted though, and a draw which we deserved would have been a good result.

The dead wood in the squad that we signed/re signed is a worry when a couple of decent extra players would make the world of difference.

Cullerton's review of the Game was a good one on RS. At least we are looking like a good side in the making. Just need to sort a few things out and then we can start winning more games and secure first division football and then build on next year.

Still worried about the goals we are conceding. Pre season we were saying our defence would be strengthened by Robertson and Dickinson, but still we leak goals. Is it because they are not being well protected enough by midfield? And if Dickinson is really a left back, what happens when Jones comes back? Do we persist with Dicko at centre half? I was hoping we would be OK at the back, and was looking at a midfield signing to boost the squad - now I'm starting to wonder if we need another defender.
