Would your attitude have been the same if V2001

had presided over this utter farce?

 

I suspect some people would've already begun to boycott the club by now.

My relaxed attitude over none/late delivery is directly down to V2001, Im just so pleased we have a club still and that things in general are changing for the better.

I too am pleased we have a club and I'm extremely happy with the 99% of things Port Vale...I also refuse to criticise or comment on any decisions Smurf makes whether that be on the pitch or off the pitch...he saved us...its now his club and he can do what he likes (within reason!)...however on the same token I have every reason to be unhappy with how 'Normans Business' has treated me as a customer...not a fan... a customer. You can't take £55,000 for goods you promised in August and expect customers not to want firmer answers....we're going back to the basics of business here.

My big issue here is the lack of information. Always has been.

If they said it wont be here before xmas then at least we know where we stand.

Things like this happened on Bratts watch and whilst i am fully supportive of Norman and what he has done for our club, he is not, and should not be immune to criticism.

 

This whole saga is a shambles.

Sondico need to be ditched asap.IF they are involved next season then i wouldn't be surprised id Sondico merchandise sale's were poor.The problem here though is that would also mean that there is less money going into the club itself.Depends on what the details of the contract with Sondico are i suppose.If there is a get out clause that can be used.Then use it bin Sondico and get someone else in.

Im guessing NS is choosing not to openly criticise them as they are a business partner as well as a supplier. I suspect there is no answer as to the current lead time, NS has accepted its pretty **** and has offered a shop voucher in recognition of how poor the situation is.

 

In hindsight again im guessing NS wished we had never offered a strip that is proving so hard to manufacture

Is it with Sondico? There has been no official comments made to suggest that is the case? 5 weeks ago we were 4 weeks away? Maybe if the customers were contacted and informed directly there was a delay with the supplier it would a step forward?

 

The contract between Sondico and Port Vale FC isn't my concern...nor are any other contracts between Port Vale and A Another....I'm not interested and I'm sure Norman isn't interested in discussing them

 

Normans last statement was 5 weeks ago...I've paid £55 6 months ago and I just want to be treated fairly...end of.

As far as i know Vale haven't failed on anything.But it looks more and more like Sondico have failed to supply.Obviously legal advice would be needed by the club.IF possible rip up the contract with Sondico because they have failed.But Sondico pay up for anything that they owe to the club.Its Sondico who seem to have failed after all.

 

Just noticed that Sondico have a facebook page.That might be worth thinking about.Let people know how much they have failed.But need to consider if it would kick back on the club in an adverse way.If it would kick back then might not be worth doing.But a few posts on their (sondico) facebook page would not be good for business.If they delete such posts without reason then would that be seen as they are embarrassed by their actions?Needs to be thought about before posting really.Don't want it to kick back on the club.

And thats fair enough...I've got no issues at all if people aren't bothered...I'm just commenting that on a general basis the whole affair hasn't been dealt with professionally...issues with Sondico aside.
