Who's going Carlisle?

Booked up weeks ago for Carlisle weekend with family, fri and sat night in Premier Inn.

Thought might have been a decent following up there but so far not looking great from what i can gather.

I'm going, my 16 year old son is also travelling from Kent. He thinks Brunton Park is the furthest ground from his home. Will he be the longest traveller for the day for the Vale?

Rugby club next to the ground. Also OK there for a beer.

The rugby club car park isn't the biggest (but the club is good for a pint). There's loads of street parking around Brunton Park but watch out for residents' permit/disc parking zones.

i'll be there. think we parked on the rugby club when going for the JPT a couple of seasons ago. should be plenty of parking nearby though

Just hope all the negativity surrounding some of our "fans" doesn't deter the other fantastic supporters that attend away matches. Vale need to be seen to being an attractive club to support and the players will respond if we all behave!

 

Won't be a big crowd at Carlisle but good places to visit for weekend or stopover.

 

Come on lads let's all get there and show the opposing fans that we are a Team on the way upward and onward.

I lived nearby and used to take my ex's son to matches, go straight through the town till you see the lights (small lights) stop before the old church, should be ok around there for street parking, watch for permit only though! ground parking is expensive and takes ages to get away after the game
