Sometimes it ain't always about someone's complete footballing ability, it's about how the dogged determination to fight for the cause rubs off on others across the team.

 

The lad wears his heart on his sleeve and would be a great add to the team. I wasn't impressed when he rejoined, but he helped stop the rot and add that steel we needed..

Griffith as a squad player.....fine. However overall he does not contribute going forward in terms of creativity and goals which we will need from the middle of the park next season. It was no coincidence that our attacking philosophy paved the way for our promotion last season and for most of the season, he was not with us.

Why do we have to go after former players tho? And not very good ones at that. Why are people sticking up for Griff? He aint a good footballer but because he wears his heart on his sleeve and tries hard he is welcomed in the team. If I got paid them wages I would try my hardest, so would every other bugger. Don't see what Griff has over so many fans, and these fans admitt he can't play football. They just like him because he is a tryer....

He did a job in league 2, could still do a job in league 2. He gives a 110% every match, but the sad fact of the matter is, he isn't a good enough footballer to make the step up to league 1. Why would Orient let him go if he was for a start. Thanks for what you helped us to achieve Griff, but we need better now.

Roy keane wasn't skilful, yes he could fire a ball but other than that he was just a guy that worked tirelessly in the centre of the pitch.i am not comparing them as such, what I am saying is that every successful team needs someone with that mentality. united had keane, Chelsea had makelele, arsenal had viera...they aint great skilfully, but they can break up the play and help the defence. and it doesn't matter whether he is a past player or not, just because he used to play for vale doesn't mean he isn't good enough now. they took birchall back and he's doing ok isn't he?
