  1. Today
  2. No, hence the emoji. But it will be a new ground for all/most Vale fans and that reason is enough for some to make the trek. It’s only just over an hour away for us so we’ll be giving it a go.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Correct..And sponsored by Red Industries who poison the good folk of Newcastle 24 hrs a day. Sent from my SM-A217F using onevalefan mobile app
  5. I've loved it since the age of 8 as up to 8 didn't like any sport at all just art and creative things . I need a break from its obsession, VARs spoiled it ,and I'm now looking to see what's out there what's more enjoyable than it . A night at the Darts Blackpool winter Gardens a great night buts it's only for one . Horse racing a day at Uttoxeter it's a good day a few beers a giggle put some money probably lose no big deal 1 day a year . Gym can do that every day where I joined got a pool sauna and steam do feel like I'm living my best life every day 💪. National trusts are good have a look round read etc got lost in history think you may have lived there in past life etc etc . So much living be done fella I'm going do it weekends away I do that anyway doing a glider thing in a few weeks all good fella . I've done my drinking not interested in thst anymore . Football well if Vale don't do well I generally don't do well that's how it used be after this past season no more . Hope DM can give me my love back for football I'm not accepting of Port Vale losing period UTV
  6. It's easy to fall out of love with football nowadays. The Euros aren't a talking point like they used to be.
  7. The city has been centralised for years. Nothing went into the smaller towns! Birmingham always had more money but many parts are now a third world slum We know why! 😉
  8. We’ll have to go just to see us maintain the record of being the only club to have beat every other team in the football league 😉
  9. Good competitive fight last night between Canelo and Jaime Munguia. Munguia had his moments but Canelo was just too strong and experienced. Beautiful left hook by Canelo in the 4th to put Munguia on the canvass.
  10. Bromley took almost 20k to Wembley....
  11. Can you throw a stone a few miles away? The Cotswolds is no where nr South East Birmingham which is literally where you are! If you lived in Cheltenham then I would understand your claim of the Cotswolds being on the doorstep Google Solihull 'drug ring'
  12. Football is football. it's not the end of the world. Vale will win, vale will lose. Vale will get promoted, and Vale will get relegated. Get on the bus and go for a ride. I love watching Vale, league one, league 2 don't really matter to me as long as the players try. Good post . It's good you get on the bus and go no matter what . I admire your support It's defo not end of the world I no longer watch match of the day ,any kind of football totally lost all interest in it . Cannot wait get back to real life ,life with no football in . It's a much happy place be bring on the gym ,national trusts ,weekends away . Adios good fellow I used be like you UTV
  13. It’s fine as long as we arrange enough appropriate friendlies, not like last season.
  14. I love how all of your selling points for Stoke are places you can go for the day to get out of Stoke. Look I was born and bred in Stoke and live back here now and it will always be home but there's no getting away from the fact that as a city Stoke-on-Trent is on its arse and getting worse. Birmingham knocks spots off it. Even the concept of Stoke-on-Trent as a city is flawed for me. Trying to fund 5 city centres was always going to be hard work, especially after all the industry was ripped out of it in the 80s and 90s.
  15. It's just usually a glorified training exercise. In reality just getting minutes into legs. I don't think it harms us. Usually a slow build up and we're all good to go for the opening day ( ahem 😉) .
  16. You ain't got a clue mate. Get a better map. Bromsgrove and the Malverns is in a totally different direction from Solihull. Stratford-upon-Avon is the gateway to the Cotswolds and that's just a few miles from my front door. God knows who's giving you info. Drugs? Gun crime? Think you've been watching too much Peaky Blinders! 🤪
  17. Trust me Newcastle town are 100% Stoke city !!!!
  18. Just playing devils advocate but would you swop a sunny day, 4-0 win and a beer knowing that you’re watching a vale team that looks good enough to compete !!!!
  19. Financially it helps the non league teams but does it help us ?
  20. 3hrs29mins from Burslem to Bromley.
  21. Schumacher aka.....JAWS...Just Another Whinging Scouser. Sent from my SM-A217F using onevalefan mobile app
  22. By a stone throw from the Cotswolds you mean you have to throw a stone over Bromsgrove et al! Malvern Hills is before Cotswolds and that's not a stones throw away! I couldn't and wouldn't live in the West midlands. Put Stoke down but some of us know how lucky we are to have the peak district within half an hours drive and Manchester just up the road (why oh why do they class Stoke as West mids when really we should be part of the North West will never know. Affluency is more in the Solihull areas but then you have all the drug dealers etc in those areas not to mention gun crime. Unless I come into millions and able to retire to Sandbsnks or Bournemouth areas I'll stay where I am!
  23. After the fans Forum, I'm tending to like DM more and more. And I trust him to make Vale a better team next season. We need to sign a few 'winners'. Last season, when we conceded it looked like the players couldn't care less.
