  2. I wouldn't buy players based on how they play against us . Look at Loft for Scunthorpe and Bristol Rovers found the net four times I believe v us we sign him he scores 2 I deflected V Stevenage. We have a habit of making players look better than they are . Be interesting see who he does buy . I'd go for thst Orsi holds the ball up scores and looks a good league 2 player ,Liam Kelly aswell on today's show v the Alex . Maybe they will get chance play in league 1 on Crewes showing today I would only take the number 5 no one else . I'd take Raggett from Portsmouth . Build from back we conceded most games like a sieve , last season and season former especially after jan ,it doesn't really matter what league you in you will lose plenty of games if back isn't I'd say 50 per cent better than last season that's the area what needs strengthening the most .
  3. Not sure about today but a long time poster on here, who I got to know personally, went that Reading game. As one poster pointed out to me a couple of months ago, I use the term “virtue signaling” every week. Well….. what else is that crap? Picture on twitter. Look at me. Like my tweet. It is what it is.
  4. I thought that when the players kneeled before matches and we're applauded. Go woke you know the rest!!
  5. Indeed he was. He was at Newport and wanted to move closer to family in Telford. I believe he took a wage cut I go to Crewe yet we never seemed interested.
  6. Sad that you can't understand English... Read my posts and my reply to him.
  7. Those players were in an environment where they obviously weren’t flourishing. Look at our success in the last 10 years. Micky Adams and Darrell Clarke. Both managers are loved by fans and the majority of players that played under them. This is where we need Darren Moore to be the next Vale legend. The manager is imperative to success. Darell Clarke changed our football club with his bond with the fans. We need this ruthless, us against the world approach next season.
  8. I see KR put a Confused emoji to this. He will have been confused by your statement ... 'I'm there for PVFC, nothing else' His ulterior motive is exactly the opposite. Very sad individual.
  9. Thank god he's been linked to Salford! Couldn't stand Stockton being rumoured to come to Vale all summer!
  10. Just listened to Crawleys manager . He said he recruited players who play for the love of the game . Had to change the mentality of just turning up for wages . So recruitment was spot on Liam Kelly failure at Rochdale allegedly success at Crawley Orsi not wanted by Grimsby scored 25 goals I think I've read and big ones in semis and final That's what sells not players who just see it as a wage after all there doing something they love for money they ain't grafting for 160 hrs in a month doing 14 to 20 thousand steps a night loading wagons picking socks and Wellington boots and filling slots up with heavier than they should be boxes . Well Done Crawley
  11. I've got that one!! An ex cricket colleague gave it to me because it was 46" chest...my size but only his if worn over 3 layers of clothing! Only colours I've ever had.....plain clothes kinda fan, know what I mean?😉💥👍
  12. The striped sleeve shirt is the one that really stands out from my early years watching the Vale.
  13. It won’t matter what end they’re in if we recruit properly and can field a competitive team each week.
  14. Started watching the Vale in 68, my first “replica” top was the striped sleeves 74-76
  15. 25 years wow felt like that mirror scene from the Santa Clause.
  16. Just getting the actual Aspin, Porter & Futcher in as they are now would be an improvement on last season's jokers!
  17. That doesn't for one minute change the fact that i think Bratt and the rest of his cronies are spineless scumbags(as shown at the EGM) but appreciate the thank you me owd fruit 😉
  18. Also maybe some put on what they are told from people who know a lot more about players than most of us,like those who scout players etc.... I guess it's up to the individual if they want to say how they know about certain players
  19. Maybe we should more of those we put on here then 🙂
  20. My starting point would be to want the better boxer to win. If you take the (completely ineffective) mind games out of it and adjust for weight, height and reach advantage, it was no contest. Even with Fury's God given advantages, Usyk landed more proper punches and had his man in more trouble in the 9th than Fury did in any earlier round. The person who was affected by the mind games was me - I just wanted Usyk to give the cheeky brat a schooling, which, substantially he did.
  21. What a waste of money! Probably time to close this thread now, and try and forget about him.
  22. We need a Neil Aspin type defender, an Andy Porter type central midfielder and a Ron Futcher type striker to coach Baylee Dipepa through the season. Plus two full backs, so that Shorrock and Plant can compete for the more attacking roles. Four or five additions, the right additions, could see us turn things around. UTV!
