He's been a very good player for the Vale during some of the hardest of times and I shall always respect him as a player who, as a Vale supporter, I could be proud he was wearing our shirt - no histrionics, gobbing off, poor off-field conduct, disrespecting the club or fans or embarasingly poor performances. OK, he isn't an Aspo or a Glover but he's a proper professional footballer who plies his trade in the lower leagues and does a good job of it.
