All those home points dropped when Gannon was in charge. The penalty miss at Wycombe. The Prosser last minute goal, Christ almighty we have been crap since Christmas and still might not make the play-offs on goal difference !!!!!!!!!

 

Again shows what a crap league 2 it has been this season !

All ifs, buts and maybes ultimately. I dare say we could go back and look at moments that went our way - like the deflected winner at home to Aldershot for example.

 

The sad fact is that over the season we haven't scored enough, and we haven't won enough games.

 

At the start of the season we had 12 games where we made fewer errors and we nicked games. Post Xmas we have barely nicked anything and we have made too many mistakes.

 

Until we get another goalscorer in and a couple of midfielders chipping in regularly we won't progress.

 

That is not exactly likely under this board as with STs down the inevitable will be huge cuts to the playing budget in order to prolong their stay.

 

That again is another sad reality. They would rather cut the budget and as a result see the club suffer more than allow folk to buy 24.9% of the shares, invest much needed funding and get the fans buying tickets but paying the price of losing their positions.

I'm going to say no. None of our big players were playing for him, and thats when he actually picked them.

What about IF the board had not selected Gannon but asked Horsefield and Grew to give it a go until the end of the season?

I believe we would have 6 more points than we do now.

We only scored 7 today because we were allowed to by a pretty hopeless side, how many time have we seen teams play 5 in midfield and we can't score.

 

Big difference today was they never tackled us and griff more or less scared their younger lads to death in midfield. I been to every home game this season and I can't remember Justin scoring and then I go for my only early beer and miss our fourth goal !!!

 

One of them days when you can barely smile after we won 7-2
