Vale fans - only a handful more than v Burton I thought with all the hype there may have been a few more than that. Still great effort from everyone who went and I'd never predicted two five figure gates at Vale this season.

I'm not so sure actually..the bycars maybe. If we had played burton today they would have bought more than on a Friday nite. 12500 is still excellent. Why is the bottom tier of he family out of bounds?

It's high time we honoured Bill Bell for his achievements on behalf of Vale, his generosity, his skill in man management and financial affairs and took issue with the rumour mongers, smearers and besmirchers who still seek to deny his achievements and impute his motives. The chief among these were the leaders of Valiant 2001 who have now been revealed for what they were.

and can I suggest you lighten up a bit. I witnessed the Bill Bell era and agree it was the best spell that I have ever been a part of. However the biscuit tin was always and still is a joke, and featured regularly in the fanzine of the time Seth Bottomley. Please dont be so tetchy! Its said in jest, and I would say it to his face if he were still with us and he'd see the funny side of it!
