As an aside, I was in the main stand, and it's a credit to York supporters that I didn't hear any booing or slagging off of the home team despite their predicament and performance.

Was walking back to our bus after the game with a bunch of York fans and they we're posibly the nicest lot of away supporters that I've ever met, very complimentary to our team, young lad with them was so clued up it was untrue, "thought your number 29 was amazing". They've very worried and believe that they're doomed to relegation, I really hope that they stay up and it's a fantastic away trip that I'd like to do more often albeit in a higher division!

Great following. Went out in York last night and it was packed with Vale fans where I was, the bar even played the wonder of you!

 

Talking to Huddersfield and Leeds fans who were all a good laugh and they commented it was just Vale everywhere! Great vibe about York

I was on a stag do in Liverpool yesterday, 3 Vale Fans and 15 Stokies - all 18 of us were singing super vale away at full time and on the train back

That attitude mirrors our two Clubs exactly. We are desperate to get out of this Division whereas they are desperate to stay in after their years in the Conference wilderness. I'm certain that, assuming we go up, we will have a very happy fanbase if we can attain mid-table mediocrity in Div1 next season:yes:
