Just a minor point, but I believe the Sentinel are wrong on Ashley Vincent. According to the stories when he joined he has signed a two-year deal NOT the one-year deal that the Sentinel is reporting. Here's a link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18674565

After reading the paper. id say james.yates.and clayton will be released. possibly morsy(does adams rate him enough?), i do mind you.

Then release chilvers.

Offer the rest contracts.

And another minor point - I make it 14 out of contract this season, not the ten quoted in the Sentinel.

As others have already stated, how refreshing to read a news article on the Vale with this much positivity behind it. MA will know what he's doing. Personally, I'd release Yates, McDonald, Chilvers, Andrew and James. I'd offer Purse and Hughes one year extensions and the rest two year deals.

I personally think Adams may well release James, McDonald plus possibly Andrew and Birchall (if he thinks he can get better replacements in the summer) from that list. I think Micky may well see Yates and Chilvers as a decent defensive squad players and offer them another year while I think it's highly likely that Purse and Hughes will get one year extensions. I'd certainly like to see Burge and Loft on three-year deals.

 

And even though their contracts don't run out till next summer, I'd be tempted to offer Myrie-Williams and Neal an extension as well. Although, perhaps it may be wise to wait and see how they start next season in (hopefully) League One first.
