Had £20 @40/1 £800 return... Everything's crossed!

£20 e/w at 40's with WHills. Placed it on the day we signed Neal, Duffy etc

I also made an e/w bet on Vale to win outright at 40-1 with WillHill..is it like horse racing where I still win if we go up in 2nd or 3rd place but with reduced odds? (Never made a bet before but just had a good feeling about this season!!!)

The bookies should be paying out all our bets for promotion already. The 40-1 to win the league is the only worry. Might have to make a few cover bets closer to the end of the season to cover the liability...

 

Best you can get now for promotion is 1/10. A few more wins and the bookies will be paying out early, just in time for Torquay away ;-)

I had £40 on at 40/1 vale as champions, £20 at 28/1 vale finish in the top 3 and £40 at 10/1 for vale to get promotion either automatically or through the playoffs.

 

If we win the league I win on all 3 bets and stand to win over £2000

 

Well over £2.5k - lets hope we can stay top till the end.

We put £100 on vale getting promoted at 10/1 which is £1100 return :D but anything can happen yet......

i only had £3 at 40/1 to win the league and £7 at 10/1 for promotion. so returns of £210 for me should we win the league.

It is you get usually a 1/4 of the odds for the places 1,2,3, so if you had say £10 each way at 40/1 and we win it you would pick up £520, if we finish 2nd or 3rd you will pick up £110.

I myself had £10 each way at 33/1, which will get me a season ticket and a bit left over for celebrating.

I know someone who put £160 on @ 40-1 to be champions.. They are having a box next season if it comes in.. They win and Vale win :-) happy days

I don't remember you telling me about the other bet - is e/w quarter the odds? That should net you a cool £46. Nice contribution to your ST.
