Not important at all - Disagree. The badge should represent where we are from and remind us of our history. For me, it is important to have 1876 somewhere on the badge as well to show that we have been around for 137 years.

Vote freely - Nice to have the chance I think - wouldn't have happened under the recent regime.

 

It ddefinitly is important, very important. I care which we have as it represents our club and its future, as I think the history of a club is also its future as that is the very foundations of what the club is today. I have seen some teens on facebooks saying the owd uns opinions do not count as the youth i.e. teenagers are the future of the club, but whether you are 10 years old or 70 we are all the future of this great club. Why do people think when Wimbledon moved to mk and left their roots the fans formed a new club to repsent them, where a club is from and exsists is the most important thing and as many say Port Vale and Burslem go hand in hand, Burslem is Port Vale, Port Vale is Burslem. I think it is an excelent idea that the club had Burslem as its identity and as its logo, wearing the Burslem shield is important and the players and fans wearing it close to their hearts is very important.

To gauge any genuine feedback this poll needs to be restarted:

 

1.Keep Existing Badge.

2 Change to proposed new version.

 

it seems many people have voted incorrectly due to the confusing terminology.

 

Quite agree - perhaps this is something to be put on the OVF front page with a clear description (ie A Picture) of what is being voted on.

makes no difference ive had the current badge for years then a couple of years ago had the old badge on, its still a vale tattoo its not like buying a shirt then the shirt changes and you feel robbed.

Gotta be the old badge, the one we currently use was designed by a schoolgirl in a competition if i remember rightly, and it's terrible, and for all those wanting a fresh marketed "brand".

I say to you, bunkum.

We have a rich history for which we should be proud,i feel the crest of burslem reflects that.

Been thinking about this proposed change a bit. That new version they've had done is rubbish, quite frankly, I'd never vote for it in a million years but if they just offered up reverting the the original as on Nelly's flag avatar then I could live with that.

 

That writing above the revamp is shocking. As is the horizontal squeezing. Just looks like its been wrongly resized on paint by some end of a bell.

Us Shrewsbury fans would love to have this choice! Our Town's coat of arms was replaced by a "modern" badge 5 years ago and it has been a total and utter disaster. The campaign for it removal has over 1200 supporters (http://bringbacktheloggerheads.co.uk/)

Don't be tempted to go for something "modern" it would almost certainly look outdated in a few years time. A coat of arms is timeless.

Old badge without a doubt, current badge is something drawn up by a 5 year old hate wearing anything that is adorned with it at all. Can't understand where the blue came from either....
