With the transfer window being ajar, seemed like a good time to consider some possible ideas for new players

 

Goalkeeper:

Geoffrey Boycott's granny's pinny

 

Defenders:

1) Ron Seal (water-tight apparently)

2) Rumpole of the Bailey (claims to the best defender in the realm)

3. Prince Charles (defender of the faiths)

 

Winger:

Arthur Scargill (very good out on the left)

 

Strikers:

1) Swan Vestas

2) Cassanova (high rate of scoring in the box apparently)

can be painfull having your balls deflected, and bill in ben wouldn't be able to turn quick enough without surgery
