Still no official news on the day of the game? Presume it's still 3pm on the Saturday then?

Only just over 2 weeks to go now, need start shifting those tickets ASAP if it's going to be an all-ticket game.

I saw this a while back on the official site, as I needed to know the definitive date myself...

Seems pretty categorical that it's a Saturday. Has this been superseded by anything else?

This is a backward step. Pay on the day is much easier, especially with it being a round figure of £10.00. Cash is king.

As the tickets won't be ready for the York game, then it only leaves the Gas game for fans who live outside the area to get a ticket...otherwise, another trip to fecth one or the rigmarole of over-the-phone and postal purchases.

Unnecessary, unwanted hassle for a game that won't be anywhere near capacity.

In the time since I last wrote, the rail fare has gone up from £23 to £29.00

So, thanks to whoever it is who can't make their mind up about when to stage the game, my travel costs have just gone up by over 25%

Never mind, I'm just one of those pesky fans.

I wouldn't mind betting they'd show ours if it was at VP and not Bramall Lane.

Home advantage is better if they wanted to show a possible upset.

Never mind, we'll do 'em anyway. Unfortunately(?) I'll be in Australia when they do.

That theory would be ok but then why shown Cheltenham at home to Hereford?!

Sheffield Utd are a big club. The biggest you could get at this stage. We are second in our league and will take around 3000 fans.

A crowd of around 13000 and some great football on show. What a great advert for the scond round it would be!

Instead they choose to go to Alfreton Town. And lets face it, Leyton Orient are that much of a tinpot club that if Alfreton win it would hardly be an upset of huge proportions.

I feel ESPN have missed a trick.

I thought they'd pick Alfreton v Orient it was the only non league v league so was a banker as long as Orient won at Gloucester n they did.

The other is disappointing but they are probably going off Hereford's cup history and it's a local game, although even then it's a 4000 gate at best. Hereford need the money and I don't begrudge them that but that's a highlights and a live game fee for them now.

Although Mk dons have had 2 live matches now I think.

Any chance of us being a highlights game?
