What an atmosphere on the way back.What was that song that the Kidsgrove lads kept singing to the tune of Depeche Modes "Just can't get enough" brilliant song had a chant about Stoke fans hating us.

Brilliant that needs to be sung regularly.First time I''ve heard it I could not get the tune out of my head all night.I hope someone filmed it and stuck it on you tube.It was like the old days.Crap result on Saturday but the journey home was worth the fare alone.Anyone who was in That carriage will know what it was like.Non stop singing

First time its been sung my mate thought it up yeah I agree it needs be sung at games we need a few new songs and tea man sorry if we annoyed u we were bit drunk the lady who sat by us who was not a football fan seemed to be enjoying it

It was unfortunate as these people were, unfortunately for them, moved from another train to be subjected to the foul mouthed antics of drunken yobs with no respect for anyone .

 

No, they didn't have the option to move as it was impossible and as for joining in with the 'singing' well I would hope that little girls of 6 or 7 have not yet come across this 'intellectual vocabulary' . ( I am assuming the 'singing' question was asked tongue in cheek Johnny and appreciate your sense of humour ;) )

 

Before anyone jumps on my case , I'm not on a 'goody 2 shoes box ' just felt sorry that these innocent people were subjected to this and it doesn't do the name of our Club any favours at all .

Have to agree that some of the language was a bit industrial, but loved the " We'll smoke where we want and We'll p i s s where we want" songs after an announcement telling people not to smoke on Stafford station after a 20 minute stoppage.

The quarter to 8 train back (the last one) was packed too. Some Vale fans took a leaf out of George Osbourne's book and sat in first class to a rendition of "We'll sit where we want"...until the burly ticket inspector threatened to make everybody walk home unless they cut the singing out.
