I can never understand why both our recent managers seem to be of the opinion he is a wing back. His defending is moderate at best but his natural position is either as a winger or right sided midfield. But there seems an obsession to shove him into a position he is not suited to. When he came through from the Youth team he was a winger. Then Moore tried to make him a full back with his wing back obsession

Could be a bit of everything. Maybe not developed as quickly as the club hoped so they thought a step back is a step forward for him? DM or Brady might not rate him or he might not even fit their system?

Not sure it’s what you want against some 7ft giants from the likes of Salford next season but as a purely footballing pairing I like this Cam and Kyle centreback partnership.

Not a great deal going on. Us being 1-0 is more a reflection they’ve done a Vale at the back.

It seems fine for defenders to climb all over Sherif, but as soon as he backs in to his defender to hold the ball up, the is penalised. Ref is very poor. 

One simple tactic wins this game and wins it convincingly.

Get the ball to George Hall every time and let him run at their number 6. It’s a total mismatch. I can run faster than that lad!!!
