No player will accept a 1 year deal when they can get a 2 year deal elsewhere. If we want to keep a player, 2 years is minimum

It wouldn't, but I think Brian's point, as is mine, is that these accounts have no inner knowledge of the football club and no contacts, they just spout already confirmed things and likely transfers and then claim they're right when one in ten (which is the most likely one to happen) comes off.

To me for Rico he’d come off the bench and for a short period of time would impress but any time he had longer he was not good and his lack of cardio showed. Need more than that from a player. I’m guessing at Walsall he didn’t fit their system but then I’d be asking him did you make an effort to adapt?

All true, i do think we will lose Gabriel though, i can see him and Humphries getting offers from league 1

Croasdale I agree,for me only a 1yr offer to him and i think Clark and Richards will be let go,the latter made available for transfer or an agreement will be reached with him

For me Garrity has had two goes in league 1 and been quite awful in both occasions. His one asset was his engine and to me he looks leggy by half time, either that or it’s a lack of effort. Maybe just me, but I’d be quite happy if he moved on

It's not Paton's decision, it's Port Vale Football Club and The Manager who make the decision . Paton wants to play regular football and is contracted to PVFC for 1 more season so if the club want him they decide 🤔 Football is a funny old game

I think they would be too. Not done enough this season for me to warrant staying and I imagine they could want to stay league one anyway (if anyone will have them of course).

Nice idea but why would we want to keep a player if he doesn't want to play for us? And what would be the point?

People have some odd views. Paton is terrible. Best hope is that we get some money for him. 
 

as for Humphries and Gabriel . They have been light years better than anyone else. I’m my view Gabriel player of the season ahead of 20 game Kyle

Lad wants to play football. I’m sure if he was in with a look in for the first team he’d want to be with us. He loves our support iirc so I think what you’re saying here is unfair.
