Morsy definitely improved but needs to cut out the fancy flicks he tries in every game which never come off

Shuker was poor yesterday. VERYYY lightweight and doesn't seem to have the legs to get up and down the pitch. He isn't really good enough on the ball to justify a place over Burge for me either. Really don't like knocking him but he's just not a central midfielder for me.

 

As for Morsy he's coming along nicely. Good engine on him and enough quality on the ball to be an asset.

 

Shucker played really well yesterday. Is the play-maker and it was probably his best game for us

I've said before, I really like him, and theres a lad he went school with who was released from Villa if i remember correctly, I can't believe we haven't had a look at him, as he was the higher rated of the two, I'm told.

I thought Shuker played really well on Saturday (probably his best game in a vale shirt), he never stopped running from box to box, in fact lots of people around me in Lorne St commented on how it was refreshing to see a player that could support both the defence and attack within a few seconds. In my opinion Shuker was a shout for MOM.

I like Shuker and also think he played very well on sat. Very rarely goes the ball away and can pick a pass as well as anyone we have.

we discussed morsy after the game, not missing griff so far and morsy can actually pick out a forward pass

Morsy is improving week by week.....Very strong and a few more games under his belt i reckon he will be a big asset this season.

I recommend Morsy's summer training camp. Can't believe the improvement. He's gone from prospect to solid and effective player. Early days in the season though.

Yep have to echo most of the views, Morsy has come on a lot, if he could add a few more goals into the mix he could be the next Andy Porter!

For the record I thought Shuker was good Saturday too!

at one time i was a fan of morsy . unfortunately over the last season he appeared to seriously lose his way and i would have gotten rid. however so far this season i am happy to eat my words , his performances have been good back to how i originally thought he could play . please keep it up sam and prove to people like me, that you are not yet another so called "promising" vale youngster to lose his way.

Maybe he's read that Liverpool will pay 25 million for him ,hope so ,Sam along with Ryan Lloyd are going fiinish the lorne street stand with how much these big boys will pay us we will be in business till doomsday . :):):):):):).
