I don't like having the sun in my eyes and I like an atmosphere when I go see Vale.

 

Its a basement division club I go to see two or three times a month I couldn't care less if the toilets stink or the foods crap.

 

I like to sit in the paddock but it's tough **** really,imagine how pathetic it would be with all the ground open and 2,000 or less knocking around in it.You say you like the atmosphere,well there would be zero atmosphere with the ground open that is 100% certain.

Looking forward to this game..the only issue is getting back from Liverpool to get to the ground for 715pm. Why so early?

Its a marketing attempt to attract adults to bring their young kids (and hopefully get them interested in Vale not Stoke)

 

any Adults paying full price will be entitled to a FREE JUNIOR TICKET (under 16 yrs).

 

I think the 30 mins early is reasonable as it means there's a fair chance the kids will be home before 10pm.

I quite enjoy the odd game in the Lorne Street.

Last time was Tramnere friendly and it was nice to see a true Vale legend a few seats away, Deano.

the idea of the early ko is to encourage more parents to take their children (with it being a school day weds). it is a fact that a large percentage of children who attend weekend games do not attend weekday matches due to the following day being a school day. its a good idea imo.

Is it pay on the gate all around the ground. Hope so the idea of having to queue to get a ticket to go in the bycars is ridiculous.

Yes, I would too - long overdue, and those of us owd geets who remember the magical day out at Wembley in 1993 will know that it is really a competition that shouldn't be dismissed.

We don't have a great record on penalty shoot-outs so I hope we get through in normal 90 minutes as the game goes directly to penalties if drawn and last time against these lot Roberts missed and we lost 4-2 on penalties after they had a very late equaliser.

It would be good to get revenge then beat Preston and Sheffield United in the next two rounds and head for Wembley again.
