Port Vale v Morecambe match thread- March 22nd

Featured Replies

Would probably look at Sang in at RCB for this one if as I expect we are going to have a lot of the ball. An extra option to cross the ball wouldn’t hurt assuming Stockley is in the lineup and not seen any reason he wouldn’t be. Outside of that I’d go Byers and Croasdale in midfield for this one and then can rotate in Walters and Garrity for the Barrow game midweek.

Can remember some numpty saying last match any top 3 side would put 3 past these 🤭 heard it all season top 3 this top 3 that. Let’s see where we finish at the end of the season mate, because nobody in the top 7 right now except Colchester are consistent. Top of the table Walsall haven’t won in their last 5 games, 2nd placed Bradford have lost back to back games & Wimbledon who currently occupy the last ‘ top 3 ‘ spot have lost 3 of their last 5. Hence why I’m asking what a ‘ top 3 ‘ side looks like. Because personally I don’t have a clue 🤷‍♂️ Seems an easy way to have a little pop because we sit in the playoff positions & not currently in the automatic spots. That’s not aimed at you by the way

Very much so, we will know by May if we were a top 3 side or not, feels last weeks results coupled with the fixtures we have this week have made us all more optimistic, just hope we dont burst the bubble Vale style!

My favourite is - lie on my front, do Cobra extensions (at least 10), then roll over on to my back and do side turns so it clicks my back back into place...  Did it this morning before going out for my walk and daily press ups

Sounds a bit like how i have sex

Its a bit worse than that Doncaster is away

Its not partly true it is true! money laid controls the market,  I know a bloke who had a betting shop in Sheffield and he use to take bets off punters on his phone out of hours, about 10 year ago on a Sunday teatime a bloke phoned up with a big bet on formula 1, he showed us the bet and said f-ck it am standing this am not laying this off its no chance of coming in, last lap leading car tyre blew out, punter got bet up he is a ex bookie now taxi driving! out of interest how many of those teams went up automatic ?

Does it matter?

Nah….. Port Vale

I've just looked at the top of the table and the remaining fixtures for all the top teams. I genuinely cannot predict who the heck is going to finish where. All as I can say is, what a ride it's going to be from now until the last game. There will be more twists and turns than an F1 track.

When I read that I thought someone's on a wind up .

He could be right though , let's hope we maintain the threat from set plays and long throws which is so clearly evident when BH plays and so clearly not when NS plays .

We will see I say BH will be selected and I didn't see him limp off pitch v Mk Don's

Enjoy the game regardless one player shouldn't detriment the home win expected .

That will be Tolaj before he puts the ball in the back of the net tomorrow.

Back 3 of Sang, Debra and Hall then. Don't think Moore will go with Smith.... though I'm not known for being right !!

I'm only messing mate anyway.

Personally I'd like to see Sang start on the right and either Debs Heneghan or Smith as the middle centre half.

Sang offers a lot in that position at home. Clearly not suited to play him away in my opinion we need proper defenders away.

None of our CH options have covered themselves in glory in the onion bag. Only Debrah has 1, the others haven't scored at all.
