Port Vale v Walsall match thread - Dec 7th

Featured Replies

It feels like we are content to just stay in shape this half and see it through as they have had the wind behind them.

Scrappy stuff but to be honest they've done nothing too.

Awful. Rubbish selection. Deborah is awful at the back. Get him and Richards off and get a bloody striker on

Really scrappy half

Walsall only look threatening through our mistakes

We make stupid decisions with the ball and never seen fully in control of it. We desperately need some composure. We again look very solid which is a good foundation but have absolutely nothing going forward.

He’s been our best defender!!!

I’m delighted with 0-0 at half-time.

Come out second half playing with the wind, and use that advantage a lot more skilfully than Walsall did.

That was a brutal half of football, albeit in abysmal conditions. Get Stockley and Paton on asap!

Wind with us time for super subs

Rico should score there best players the corner taker

Lowe is in Halls pocket think he is

No chance. Hasn’t made one pass to a white shirt

Constructive as ever, V593.

In fact Vale have played well in really tough conditions

I think playing well is stretching it. A stop-start, largely conditions-impacted game. We’ve had the occasional nice bit of play, Curtis & Rico linked up well a couple of times. Harper again decent and likewise Cros, Debs kept Lowe quiet. This playing round at the back makes me nervous as Hell, too many times it ends with Hall just hoofing it into no-man’s land. A mistake or set-piece will be pivotal in this game.

You moan more than my wife FFS and that's saying something 🤣🤣🤣

Some of you are watching a different game to me. Really tough conditions. A good effort to keep the ball down and play football. Chi’s let and croasdale excellent. Tough for hart this side but has run with ball really well.

That's a low bar, pal.

It’s not moaning. It’s being at the game and realising we haven’t picked a striker at home. That’s fact

We've done okay but are really missing have an actual striker up top. Stockley hasn't been great lately but he can get hold of the ball. We have the wind in our favour next half and some good options to bring off the bench.
