I hope the likes of Coventry play their first team against us. We could really do with losing a few of these friendlies and conceding some goals.

 

The results so far have been good but we don't want them o be over confident - a sense of reality is needed for when the season begins.

Wouldnt be the end of the world if we conceded a few goals but we might just be better than cov? And if we are i hope we win. Losing games will cause players to lose confidence, why wish that?!

I'm impressed so far even if we playing part time teams! I hope we win every game but I don't hope we follow that season we beat man utd pre season and also won every other game cos we got relegated! Still I'm enjoying pre season so far! Scored 32 conceded 0! Up the vale

It is all about fitness and team bonding. Last two should be more of a test.

 

But we get more out of a match fitness wise if we play a better team who can keep possession and make us chase the game a bit more. We are obviously strolling. As has been said the results are not the most important thing. They would gain more confidence from playing well against teams who have challenged them. The defence have hardly been tested yet. Hopefully the two games when we get back will be enough.
