If Mr Bratt actually believes what he's saying in this interview, I'm more worried than I was before, when I assumed he was simply lying to keep his job.

In all these dim-witted interviews, he seems incapable of taking into account the fact we'll go out of business if the current board remain in charge. Never mind sitting there going "Ooh, well, Mo's five year plan might be to get us promoted and then sell the club for a profit" - if the board carry on as they are there won't be a Port Vale around to sell in five years.

The most chilling bit is the "Mo's not a Vale fan, why does he want the club?" quote. That sums up the vision Bratt has of Port Vale. It's just a nice little hobby for him and his mates, like running the village cricket team - it's never going to be great but it sure is fun, so what's a little loss here and there?

Hope the perks are worth it Bill, because whether you can see it or not, you're killing Port Vale.

Excellent, like the bit about the hobby, even better if you draw money for it.

It is amazing that we are told we have just 13k in the bank.

With gate receipts of 20k to 30k a match between now and the end of the season, how on earth are they going to cover staff costs of 40k a week? On top of that "occasional event staff" cost the Vale an average of 7k a week last year.

It shows why they are trying to generate season ticket revenue in April, rather than in May as is usual.
