i'm not angry at all. Just frustrated that OVF was an excellent site for Port Vale based conversation, now there's a select bunch of people who just trawl all of the threads posting absolute garbage that relates in no way to the conversation that some people are trying to have.

 

As far as I can tell if you don't have anything to say based on the title of the thread, then don't ruin it for everybody else trying to get across valid opinions.

 

There's a lot of people I know who no longer post on here because of the select few idiots who ruin it, and that's a real shame, I'm sure everyone will agree.

Dave's not as good as Purcell or Dickinson so it's worrying having him on trial, as he might be seen as a back-up option if we can't sign the first choice.

I never said rigidly stick to subject matter, but admin had to delete about 10 posts about what people were eating for breakfast today.

Calm down poppet. The point is that posters are angry that the thread isn't being followed. Post 66 is an example of how the thread could manifest in accordance with that paradigm - subsequently outlining the potentially clipped nature of the dialogue.

i can not saee lionel messi joining us on trial as well, if he did im sure grew would be telling us all about what a quality signing he could be

I hope none of this is true. Nothing against the lad personally but we can do better than sign a player whose last club was in the Zamaretto League Division One, who last played professional football in 2008 and scored just 12 goals in 69 games for his last four league clubs. This is not going to strike fear in L2 defences next season.

 

C'mon Micky, there are better signings to be made.

We can do much better in my opinion.
