I noticed a few free agents getting signed up today .. Victor Moses has gone to Luton and Freddie Ladapo to Huddersfield and also Wrexham and Wycombe signing one each,so as I said earlier players are out there

I don’t see us bringing in anyone else now. I think Moore will stick with what we’ve got & with him mentioning Dan Jones & Connor Grant are working towards fitness etc.. if you keep saying it though it may happen 😉 he also spoke about Shorrock so we have more than enough for me

Do you  think we have any gaps to fill? Possibly LB but with Shorrock & Grant not far away I think it’s unlikely. We look well stocked elsewhere.

However if an outstanding opportunity presents itself in defence then we should take it.

Spoke with a Chesterfield supporting mate yesterday and he said that they were due to sign him and hopefully in the squad for Saturday.

Brilliant signing for a league 2 club if they get him fit, happy with our options in midfield and we didn't need another midfielder but Chesterfield definitely going for it and can see them been in the top 4/5 come the end of the season.

Hart, Hall, John, Grant, Clark, Jones & Shorrock can all play LB. Clark, Sang, John, Lomax & Cover can all play RB. No need for anymore incomings now

We have a lot of players who can play but not particularly good options.

Hart: Left footer Out for the season

Hall: On the slow side to be longer term. Ok for a few games.

John: Does a good job but has to keep coming inside. Doesn’t have a left foot. Will hinder attacks long term when both Chizzy and Curtis want to drift inside. Need a left footer to go outside.

Grant: Sicknote and scared of his own shadow tackling him.

Clark: Out until at least Jan

Jones: His sicknote has last 2.5 years.

Shorrock: I think he’s a terrific prospects to be fair but we shouldn’t be relying on a 17 year old to provide a left foot and give balance.

Happy with Cover,Sang,John and emergency Lowe or Deb at RB.

Yeah I was only suggesting they can all slot in if needs be. John got an assist with his left foot at the weekend although he is predominately right footed I’m fine with him mate, has it been confirmed that Hart is out for the season? Denis Irwin didn’t have much of a left foot but was one hell of a left back. I’m not having Hall is too slow to play left back then you say you’re alright with Lowe as an emergency right back mate 😆

A few games mate you can get away with it but not for half a season.

Personally I would like to see Hall slot in there. I think he’s the best option we have but not long term.

Yeah I wouldn’t want Hall there too often either, have the club confirmed Harts injury mate? I can’t remember seeing anything around the length of his injury but could have missed it

Noticed Gary Madine who was touted on here has ended up on the  Hartlepool sub bench.

Mr Massey made his full debut last night as Fylde slipped into the bottom four.
